A saturated cyclic alcohol (L-1-methyl-4-isopropylcyclohexan-3-ol) obtained by steam distillation, freezing and recrystallization from fresh stems and leaves of Mentha haplocalyx Briq.
Characteristics: Colorless acicular/prismatic crystals or white crystalline powder; special peppermint aroma, burning at first then cool taste. Ethanol solution shows neutral reaction.
Finished product specification: 25 kg/drum;
Main ingredient: menthol;
Storage: Keep tightly sealed and store in a cool place.
